aurora_v1) is the default when model_version is omitted. Aurora 1.0 Fast (aurora_v1_fast) renders faster at half the price, at a lower resolution: Aurora 1.0 renders 720p, and our 9:16 example from Aurora 1.0 Fast came out 448 × 832. Both take up to 5 minutes of audio. For the request lifecycle (polling and webhooks), see the Aurora overview.
Choose Aurora 1.0 for audio longer than Aurora 2.0’s 59.7 seconds. For shorter clips, Aurora 2.0 gives higher quality and up to 2k.
Pricing
Billing is per second of audio, rounded up to the next whole second. For example, the 10.4-second audio in the example request is billed as 11 seconds: 11 credits with Aurora 1.0, or 5.5 credits with Aurora 1.0 Fast.
Failed videos are refunded automatically, and generated videos stay available for at least 7 days. See Pricing, limits and retention to compare every model.
